School Day
We seek to stimulate the love of learning in our children so that they want to learn for themselves and achieve to the very best of their abilities.
School starts at 8.50 a.m, and when children arrive they will engage in reading, maths and a variety of other learning activities in their classroom during registration.
The total hours provided each week is 32.5 hours.
Breaktime: 10:45 a.m – 11:00 a.m
Lunch time: 12:15 p.m – 1:00 p.m
Home time: 3:15 p.m
After school club: 3:15 p.m – 4:15 p.m
Extended Schools – (fees apply)
Breakfast Club: 8:00 a.m – 8:50 a.m
Assemblies
Assemblies at Garvestone give a regular opportunity for the whole school to gather together to learn about world events and festivals, consider moral issues and share in achievements.
